• Autumn 2009 Hotel Suite

Based on the movie “A big fish” we got inspired to create a hotel suite. The size of the ground plan was already there, but we were free to choose a location.

It was clear to me that my suite was close to nature. As if it would vanish into it. Eventually it became just like it. Only walls and a big red contrasting element distinguish the suite from nature.

The experience requires that you search between dense tropical forests. Unexpectedly you walk past a red object that ultimately makes a part of a suite where you can sleep, wash and eat. The red element contains all the luxury we have in everyday life, so you could survive in the wild. And also with the beautiful look that comes from nature.

• Autumn 2009 Apartment

I have developed an interior for a young couple. They both come from their family home’s (a farm) to live together in an apartment. The picture above shows the interests and personalities of the young couple. Both are attached to the life on a farm, but have nevertheless chosen to live together in a village nearby.

The image below gives an impression of the interior. I also put architectural elements, like a long passage, (which is central to a conventional farm) back in the apartment.

• Spring 2009 Patio Home

Above are some materials and atmospheric images. These are designed for a married couple who live in a patio home and are not often at home because of their busy schedule. The couple is about 35 years old, he is a movie producer and she is a graphic designer. Both are always far from home, but when they are home they find it very pleasant and like a homely atmosphere. After many interests, their result may be viewed.

There was a lot of consideration done with the kitchen as their central point, where guests are received. Also, the master bedroom and bathroom are very spacious, and the relaxation area becomes real. To most of the walls we added sand to the paint process for a natural earth tone and structure.
